Hey there, I’m Marha
Hi! I am Marha Valseca Ruiz, an Award Winning Spanish photographer.
I love photographing women and creating stylish, elegant portraits with a touch of modernity and sensuality. But not only that! Photography for me is a way to empower women and help them awaken the she-wolf that we all carry inside.
I studied the Bachelor of Audiovisual Communication and that has greatly influenced the way I work. I give a lot of importance to the pre-production, production and post-production of my sessions. In a good photograph everything counts. The right lighting, the right camera angle, the scene, the colours, the costumes and makeup, among other things. That is why I carry out each session in a specialised and individual way.
Where has my work been awarded?
I started my professional career in Dublin, Ireland where I lived for 8 years. During those early years of my career I was a member of the IPPVA. In this organisation I have been awarded for 4 consecutive years in the categories of portraiture and maternity.
Where do I hold my sessions?
Sessions are held in my studio or outdoors. As another of my passions is traveling, I am constantly looking for dream locations to hold my sessions and not only in Spain but internationally. Frequently, I travel to Dublin since it is my second home and I usually work there between March-November.

I came across Marha’s work when I was pregnant and looking for a photographer to do my maternity photoshoot. It was so called love at first sight, Marha’s work is beautiful, elegant and very unique. This was the beginning of our journey together through very special moments: my pregnancy session , newborn photoshoot, occasional family pictures, smash cake and a personal beauty session and I’m sure there are many more to come.
I could not recommend Marha highly enough. Apart from being super talented, she is also a fantastic person , with a brilliant attitude. Marha is very professional, calm and confident with kids of different ages and has a great eye for detail!
